Bartell Machinery Systems, L.L.C., recipient of the the 2007 Mohawk Valley Leading EDGE Award, is seeking to fill the following new positions at its Rome, NY facility:
Bartell has the following positions available at its Rome location
Mechanical Design Engineer(s)
A BSME Degree with a minimum of five years related experience in a production environment; experience in project management and proficiency in Auto-Cad , Solid Works, and electro-mechanical interfacing is required.

Electrical Design Engineer(s)
A BSEE Degree with a minimum of five years related experience in a production/manufacturing environment and experience in project management is required. A thorough knowledge of PLC's, AC and DC drives, and motion controller and operator interface units is a must. Familiarity with Auto-Cad a plus.

Our engineers are responsible for the development and design of proto-type and production machinery and the redesign of existing products for the markets we serve.

Manufacturing Engineer(s)
Develop solutions to production problems relative to materials, processes and tooling. Interface with engineering for the release of new and existing designs and bills of material for manufacturing. Support CAD and CAM operations. An AAS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required.

Machinists (off shift)
Major responsibilities include setup and operation of a variety of CNC and manual machines including lathes, boring mills, horizontal and vertical machining centers and surface grinders.
Candidates with a combination of experience in some of the above areas will be considered
